2025 SCECA Conference - PLEASE READ
Here are some tips and tricks to make your conference experience amazing!
1) Look through each of the sessions to see which one appeals to your needs. You can make a "personal schedule" in advance to save trying to make a last minute choice. Be advised, this does NOT guarantee you have a seat in this session. Your schedule is for your benefit only.2) As with every large event center, it's impossible to have the temperature perfect for everyone. You may want to bring a sweater if you wish.
3) Concessions are available for you to purchase snacks/lunch through the hotel and convention center. We do NOT have any input on prices nor selection. You are welcome to bring your lunch or snack from home.
4) Our sessions are training opportunities for adults therefore children are not allowed to attend. (Exceptions can be made for nursing mothers.)
5) FOR TRAINING CREDIT: You may receive DSS credit in one of 3 ways:
a) you would locate the session in which you received training in the SCHED app. In the description of the training, you will find a link Training Credit Verification . Tap the link and complete the form. (You will receive a copy of the form emailed to you.)
b) The room monitor in each room will have a QR code. That will also take you directly to the form to complete. (You will receive a copy of the form emailed to you.)
c) complete the "written roster" in each session room. (Take a photo of it for your proof)
d) Do not leave the room without speaking to the room monitor IF you did not complete the TCV or written roster.
On any of the above ways.... You will need to enter your SCE Registry # (six digits) AND the Keyword for each session.
6)Please be flexible. Remember that this conference is offered by the SC Early Childhood Association and is mostly staffed by volunteers. If there is an issue, please speak with someone at the TECH HELP or ROOM MONITORS table. Thank you for coming!
