About me
Gloria Guerrero is a native of South Texas. She is certified in bilingual education and early childhood and was a teacher in Houston, Texas for 23 years. She then worked as a Dyslexia interventionist in Conroe, Texas. Gloria is currently a District Literacy Coach in Aldine ISD in Houston. She has a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and a Master's degree in Reading. Because of her love of language and literacy she has been successful in addressing individual literacy needs of her students. In her current role she supports teachers in mastering the art of literacy development of students. Gloria brings the Science of Reading into all of her presentations to align with current research to support and maximize student outcomes. When not at work Gloria enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and daughter.
