In this session, directors will be invited to embrace their journey. The field of ECE and our own lives are filled with change at every turn. Participants will be invited to embrace new ways of thinking about their work and lives.

This presentation is to inform new and seasoned teachers and caregivers of the importance of supporting our little learners with the growth and developmental skills that will prove beneficial as they get older. The session is developed around connecting the early learning standards to the learning opportunities and activities within the classroom setting.

This session is designed to equip Pre-K teachers with the tools to integrate diverse cultures, languages, and family backgrounds into their daily curriculum. We will explore effective strategies for fostering an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported. Discover practical approaches to celebrate diversity, and build strong connections with all students. This training will empower you to create a classroom that mirrors the richness of the communities you serve and ensures that every child knows they belong.

Navigating special education services can be particularly challenging for Latino families due to language barriers, cultural differences, and a lack of familiarity with the resources available. This session is designed to equip early education professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively support Latino families as they access service for their child, including Baby Net and Child Find. By focusing on culturally responsive practices and practical strategies, participants will learn how to bridge gaps and develop collaborative relationships with families to ensure young children receive the support they need.

Effective team building activities can significantly impact teacher morale and overall wellbeing. When team members share common goals, know the relationship between team building, morale, and wellbeing, and practice strategies of team building, ultimately, they will succeed as a team and in wellbeing.

In this session, participants will be introduced to the LEARN framework. Participants will be equipped with culturally responsive practices to teach self-regulation skills for our youngest learners. Participants will learn how to create equitable and culturally responsive early learning environments for children with diverse social and cultural identities. Participants will develop strategies that strongly emphasizes cultural sensitivity through anti-bias coregulation practices and research-based reflective procedures.

After reviewing how to assess and score the assessment, participants will learn the science and background of multiple intelligences, learn attributes attributed to each, and practice utilizing tools to incorporate any curriculum to each intelligence.

A Make and Take Session. Participants will be able to learn about the attributes of being an “Invaluable You!” They will be able to apply the learning in their workplace while correlating the information with growing habits of children.

This is an interactive presentation designed to empower participants to uncover, reflect on, and address bias in their practices.

Learn how teacher motivation not only affects teachers’ well-being and work relationships but also the educational outcomes of their students. Attendees will identify and understand their motivation style and learn how to nurture low motivation with actionable, research-based tools and insights. This interactive session will explore what drives teacher motivation, including the impact of workplace culture. Attendees can also expect to leave with practical strategies for cultivating a motivating teaching environment that enhances teacher well-being and effectiveness. Discover how a motivated teacher can foster teacher-child relationships, enhance their personal well-being, and improve the dynamics of work relationships.

Mejorar la seguridad es algo por lo que todos los centros de cuidado infantil trabajan constantemente. En esta capacitación, aprenderá sobre las regulaciones del departamento de licencias para centros de cuidado infantil y lo que significan para mantener seguros a los niños bajo su cuidado. Explorará las normas y desarrollará un manual para mantener las notas sobre las regulaciones. Improving safety is something every child care center business is always working towards. In this session, you will learn about key child care center licensing regulations and what they mean to keep children safe in your care. You will explore the regulations and develop a playbook to maintain child care regulations. This session will support SC Early Learning Standard Goal: HPD-8: Children develop awareness of basic safety rules and begin to follow them.
