SC’s Act 284 (Read to Succeed) includes oral language instruction as one of the core components of comprehensive literacy instruction. However, what does oral language instruction include, what should it look like in the classroom, and how does it align with the 2024 SC CCR ELA Standards and the SC Early Learning Standards? This session will provide answers to those questions and ideas for practical application.
